            Fun to build! Great to display! A+++

            When I found out the Venator was to be released as a UCS set, I knew I had to get it. I’ve always been a big fan of this ship. It’s like a much cooler version of the Star Destroyer. I love that it is extremely detailed. The color is extremely vibrant. It is extremely sturdy and can be moved around with ease. Even though the ship is symmetrical, there is not that much repetition. I really loved the mini version of the Republic Gunship made to scale. I like that the info plate was printed instead of a sticker. But, I don’t understand why they couldn’t have done that for the other pieces instead of using stickers. But, overall, this set is definitely recommended for any Clone Wars fan.

            Imposing yet elegant

            I am a lifelong star wars fan as well as a Lego fan. I always wished I could justify buying one of the UCS sets over the years, and one of the sets that I almost cracked and shelled out cash for was the Star Destroyer. But, I stayed modest and didn't budge. However, as a prequels and clone wars fan at heart, seeing the Venator I knew I couldn't hold off any longer. I knew from the second I first saw it when it leaked that I was about to buy my first ever UCS set. And all I can say is wow. Well done Lego. This takes the cake. To me this is the single best LegoStar Warsset to date.

            For the Republic

            My most anticipated set, I purchased day one of insider access with the intent to use a gorgeous display piece. 48 bags across 2 boxes within the main box, and 4 instruction booklets. Overall a delight to build, but I especially had fun with the dual bridge, the back half top plating, and the side frame thanks to all of the fun detail. Includes a cute mini gunship in a hangar bay, and everyone's favorite Captain Rex.

            Excellent set

            This is my first large Lego set. The building experience was a lot of fun, I paced myself to make it last. I'd say total build time was 15-20 hours. The presence of the final build is amazing, LEGO did a great job with the details of this set. Would definitely recommend it if you can afford it.

            What a Monster!
